Hi, I've already finished learning Andante Spianato et Grande Polonaise Brillante by Chopin, and I would like to perform it for a concerto competition in a month. The competition offers accompanists, but it would cost $80 to hire one. Is it absolutely necessary to have an accompanist for this piece? It seems like the accompanist would pretty much play the intro to the polonaise and a few more measures scattered between.

Also, when playing in a concerto competition, is it recommended to play the andante solo? or just perform the polonaise since its the only part that uses an orchestra?
