Hello all. Here are some (mostly) underplayed etudes I have recorded in the last 6 months and thought I would share. I hope you enjoy them.

Gershwin/ Earl Wild "Fascinatin Rhythm" (A fun piece of piano madness-full of many technical tricks)

Rachmaninoff "Little Red Riding Hood" Op. 39 No. 6 (Repeated notes and large leaps)

Henselt "If I were a bird" Op. 2 No. 6 (Double notes and skips on mostly black keys)

Szymanowski Op. 4 No. 3 (An etude for pedaling and melodic phrasing/ chord balance)

Prokofiev Op. 2 No. 1 in d minor (Chords and octaves)

The Henselt really is pretty good. It's hard to get it BOTH feathery light and fast.

Nice to see someone playing the Gershwin/Wild. I sensed a couple of hesitancies, but it's live after all, and the passagework is fast and clear.

Thank you very much! Yea that henselt gave me a lot of technical maintenance for sure. For sure. I was debating about if I should put the Gershwin up since it has a couple little things, but I felt good over all. I appreciate your feedback and support. :)

This is an older post but I'm listening to these for the first time.
The Prokofiev etude is no longer available - - too bad, that's on my short list, I'm sure it would have been informative, and I know you are good about answering questions ...
I think the Henselt was effective.  And I liked the Symanowski very much - - what is that a study on?
- thanks for a magnificent performance post
