Desperately Need Feedback for English Project

Hi guys! I hope you guys can give this poem I did for an English project, a quick read, and give some feedback.


Modern Art

These new art forms, which they call contemporary,
They're weird, they're unusual, and they're unordinary.
For those skeptics, unconvinced, who don't believe,
I'll show you examples, read, and you'll see.

"A Russian man nails scrotum to rock hard floor",
That's an "Artistic protest", in name of the poor.
A small child can slap paint on a whiteboard,
After that, there's nothing their family can't afford.
Draw a single line, and it'll be considered rare,
And in no time, they become a millionaire.
Someone can take a photo of the Rhine river,
Sell it, and say goodbye to mortgage forever.

Basically, I think art should take a step back,
There's too much that these new trends lack.
Now, if I jumbled up words of random literature,
Would I also become a contemporary art master?
