Should you roll both hands at the same time, or from the bottom note to the top? I know this is an old debate, but I'm still not sure what the general consensus on this is. My edition of the Chopin etudes happens to be the Friedheim Shirmer's edition, and it makes a rather persuasive case that the arpeggios should be played from the bottom note to the top and that this is true for all of Chopin's arpeggios (although I'm very ambivalent about the publisher Shirmer when it comes to Chopin. I feel like the fingering suggestions are unnecessarily convoluted in all of their editions regardless of the editor). I know there's a lot of different editions of Chopin's music that don't agree with each other and most pianists seem to play both arpeggios together when searching youtube videos. Valentina Lisitsa plays them from bottom to top though.
