Familiar with Sauter?
on: January 16, 2005, 04:22:11 AM
I am in the market for a new Grand Piano and have found one (Sauter) that I have not heard of and would love to hear from others that can speak about the brand's overall quality. I have heard it played and it has a beautiful sound.

You are right. They are beautiful pianos. Larry Fine's book rates them quite highly. I played one when I was looking and they were very well made. The action is quite light compared to many other pianos. The keyboard action was very even, though.
