Hello,

I'm a student with a personal interest in collecting and preserving rare and obscure recordings of "amateur" opera singers (like Florence Foster Jenkins and such). Some time ago I came across a post on this forum where a user named 'cmg' claimed he had recordings of a woman named "Esther Flynt" (actually Flint) who performed in New York in the late 1980s. He mentioned that he got them from a friend of his "who sang in [Flint's] group, and later made a minor sensation singing "Aida" (title role) with a famous Lower Eastside independent opera company [...]".

Unfortunately, cmg has not been active on this site since 2013, and I have been unable to find any contact information. I am curious if there is anyone on this site who:

- Knows who cmg might be or how to contact him
- Knows who this friend of cmg's might be
- Knows who ramseytheii might be (he seems to have received the recordings)
- Knows about Esther Flint
- Maybe even HAS THE ESTHER FLINT RECORDINGS?

I realize this is a long shot, but I thought I'd give it a try. I've also sent an email to the help desk for this forum asking if the admins can look up his email for me, but I'm not sure if that's possible.

Thanks for any assistance!
