Geza Zichy, Sonata for Left Hand Alone
on: September 06, 2017, 05:27:17 PM
I'm considering learning this piece - it seems a lot easier than it looks at first. My question is, does anyone know of any existing recordings online? I can't find anything in youtube and all i found with a google search was a passing reference to a cd.

The pianist in question is a member here...
I don't know if the Polish record label upload tracks to Spotify etc (many companies obviously do).

As far as I know, Acte Prealable recordings are only available on CDs at the moment, specially because of the quality of the booklets, etc. But I hope these recordings will be made available also for internet users at some point.
As Ronde mentioned (thanks Ronde!), the complete Geza Zichy's piano solo works (mostly for left hand alone) were recorded by me in two CDs
As you can see below, the Sonata is inside the first CD.
If you can not buy it by any reason and really want to hear this recording, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll be happy to provide you Mp3 of the 3 tracks you are looking for.
