A friend shared this with me the other day.

Made me intensely grateful I grew up with this show (Mr. Rogers). The only channel my house even had growing up was PBS. What a dramatic contrast to the way media is today. My sisters are raising young children now and giving them an environment that is ever quiet, contemplative, reflective...is an enormous challenge for them I think.

I wonder if there's any connection with my having grown up with influences like this, and searching for and finding personal connections with friends (ted! and everyone else on the improv forum past and present) on this site?

fun fact: Mr. Rogers was a pianist.
