Where is basso continuo in Vivaldi's "Winter" ?
on: November 26, 2017, 09:41:48 PM
I know that basso continuo (or figured bass) is the practice of creating an accompaniment from a composed bass part by playing the bass notes and improvising harmony above them.

Could anyone point out what / where is basso continuo in this piece?

I am simply unsure of what to listen to.  :-\
Your help is sincerely appreciated.
