June 2016 elections predictions are interesting, pre-Trump era....

Thinking for the next year...
Rock stars dying.
Something with Trump getting knocked but probably still staying in office somehow.
Something more with Russians meddling with things but I bet nothing will really help.
More nuclear North Korea?  Increased tensions?  And a big Trump blunder.  That's kind of a given though.

They reduce amount of time allowed to be spent in jail before trial for people suspected of a crime and for "illegal" immigrants caught here.  Or at least they start enforcing the laws that are already there.  I hope

There's going to be a big economic crash. Bigger than the recession. We're in a bubble right now, anyone who's studied the Depression should see literally all the same signs. We just deregulated Wall St AGAIN.

Not too much of a stretch but I'll say that Trump's wall won't be built, and it won't be built at all, ever.  Maybe they'll be some little fence, but no giant, solid wall covering the whole southern US.

There's something like a trillion dollars of student loan debt in the US.  They loaned out money to everyone.  Students don't necessarily get a job that can pay that back and default on their loan.  Loan holder gets screwed.  Except the government backed the loan so that the borrower always has to pay it back.  It sounds similar to the housing bubble -- Lend money to people who end up not being able to pay it back.  Eventually there's a deadline where things have to be paid back or the loan is in default.
