Now see, there you go being a nice human being.  I am no wus when it comes to expressing my opinions.  In fact, I'm quite the radical.  I wouldn't want a world where everyone agrees.  How boring.  I heard this great quote once.  If two people are together all the time and never argue... one of you isn't necessary.  So, yeah, I hear you.   I am just so weary of the bashing of the opposing views that is included along with expressing one's viewpoint.   As one who is totally embarrassed by the current President of the USA, I could do some serious bashing myself.   But I don't think that helps.  Anyhow Michael Moore did a great job for us.  I understand he's going to do a film on the HMO's.  I can't wait.  (wrings hands  ;D)

thanks for your reply... you are ever so civilized, and that was my point really.

This is off topic a bit, but then again, not really, because it fits right in with my earlier comment about my outrage at the siphoning off of  my hard-earned tax dollars into this president's war of choice.   I couldn't resist posting the link, below, as it showed up on this screen (maybe it's still there) among the little, pop-up ads and smart- links that come up automatically relative to text in the screen.  It's from an American medic who has experienced the horrors of war first-hand, whose views I share, as do ,  I believe,  a growing number of Americans with regard to this war.  I'm sure there will be those who jump onto the fact that "Islam" is in the URL address and for that reason immediately discount the message.  So be it.  I thought it was poignant and worth pointing out.

Of course, the "people in question" may have never have had the advantage of being "influenced" my by a Michael Moore propaganda film.
 :P

God  (ACLU permitting,) knows,  let's not hear what the actual Iraqi's have to say about all of this:

I also cannot wait for Michael Moore's HMO "documentary" - as someone who has spent a career in healthcare and health insurance, I will anxiously await his "facts".

leftism is being a socialist without calling yourself a socialist.  Critical of capitailsm and its unregulated effect on society and the individual.  ... Leftism is recognizing that George Bush II has a very nefarious and evil design for the world ...
