Video on Tracker Organ Technique (piano technique for heavy actions)
on: December 04, 2018, 06:31:18 AM
Came across this video on tracker organ technique. Most of the video deals with piano technique and technical problems pianists may bring to the organ, so I thought of sharing it here. FYI, some tracker organs are known for having very heavy key actions, so this may be of interest to those of you that play pianos with similarly heavy actions.
There is mention of something similar to the Bernhard thumb over technique, though it was not called that.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
