Tchaikowsky Etudes

Does anyone know whether there have been any etudes uncovered by this great man? If not why not!

Tchaikovsky's Op.40 is a set of twelve, mostly quite short etudes or "Pieces of Moderate Difficulty" written between 1876-1878. There are recordings (Ponti, Postnikova), but I don't know if the sheet music is easily obtainable.
