If you check my Youtube channel, I also have relative pitch journals too. If you ask me what faculties I mostly use to recognize real music, it's relative pitch. But hey Perfect Pitch is fun!!!

I read in Kindle a book called The Talent Code by Daniel Coyle. It mainly talks about how talented and skilled people built up a part in their brain called Myelin thru practice. So if you see someone like Tiger Woods, or Chopin, oh yeah, they're full of myelin!!! That's what I'm trying to accomplish with Perfect Pitch and everything else I do with music, build up that myelin!!! It maybe boring but the long-term benefits are lasting.

At the time of writing this, it should be pointed out that Bob is wrong. What he thinks is me losing, is in actual fact his inability to realise that I will continually smite him every time he attempts to win that thread.

How instant is your perfect pitch though Jason? Is it like identifying a colour, or like trying to work out what 37 squared is?

When it's a variable (harmonic interval, Chord voicing, etc) that I have practiced, I am instantly able to identify it right away. As you can see in the video that I have worked with 50 voicings. I did not add all 50 right away, I add one voicing each day, every time I get 100% accuracy on the current variables. If I make a mistake I don't add anything till I get the current variables correctly. It's kinda like playing Pokemon GO I adapted this approach from a system called Eguchi Perfect Pitch Method. I read about the Eguchi Method from a book called The Superhuman Mind by Berit Brogaard and Kristian Marlow. I read the book in the middle of February 2019. This approach catapulted my Perfect Pitch to a whole new level. I have been doing Perfect Pitch for 6 years. The first 5 years well...I didn't have the right tools and the right approach so I struggled. I have been experiencing success with Perfect Pitch recently this year 2019.

I recently discovered how to record the screen on my Ipad. Here's an app that I use to train myself to recognize melodies. Ever since I used this app for more than a month, I have been recognizing melodic patterns for 5 straight days now for a matter of a few minutes and then it's gone. The app is called "Meludia Melody."

I've been doing this form of ear training for more than a year now. I started out plucking the chords by ear the songs for the church I go to. Now I am doing any style/genre of music.
