Here you go:

https://www.kotta.info/en/product/13823/KURTAG-GYOERGY-Transcriptions-from-Machaut-to-J-S-Bach

You'll be ordering it from Hungary so it will probably cost the eyes out of your head.

However, you could also borrow it from a library. Chat with your local library and tell them you found "Transcriptions from Machaut to J. S. Bach" on https://www.worldcat.org/ and they will track it down for you.

AND I just found it on Amazon but it says there are only 6 copies left in stock!

Thank you so much for this Max.  I have ordered but as you guessed I had to pay through the nose to get it shipped from Hungary. Anyway I am hopeful there will be other Bach duet gems in there too.  I am sure my piano club will enjoy hearing them.

That volume also contains duet transcriptions of other composers from Medieval to Baroque, so I'm sure there is some great stuff.

One thing I'd like to hear more of is piano transcriptions of Renaissance polyphony. So far all I've found is this:

That English lute music is very beautiful Max. A friend of mine has recently bought a harpsichord and I assume this could be played on the instrument? She would love it. Can one access the score anywhere?

Hello Coolpianoman!

If you're interested, take a look at my transcription for Piano Solo that I made based on the recording by Víkingur Ólafsson. This solo piano arrangement was based on Víkingur Ólafsson four-hand piano version of the recording. It is very close to the original four-hand recording, but here we present you with a possibility for you to play this beautiful Bach sonata alone, according to the interpretation of Ólafsson, originally recorded as a piano duet with four hands.

I needed the duet quickly for some students, and printed this one: https://musescore.com/user/23283141/scores/6425232?share=copy_link
Hurray!
Now, I'm going to order the book of Kurtag transcriptions :)
