Score reading Android app
on: November 04, 2019, 07:35:25 PM
Does anybody know of any Android apps capable of not only displaying sheet music (in PDF format) but also playing it?

I had a go at "Mobile Sheets" and while it did open the scores without any hassle, I couldn't get it to play a single note of them.

On the other hand, I also checked out "Play Score Lite", and while the concept seems good enough, it's also rather limited since the app needs you to photograph printed scores (max. 2-stave systems) and even then it can be tricky to get it to work properly.
And unlike Mobile Sheets, you can't just import PDF scores and play them, which is what I'm really looking for, because many of my scores are not printed, but in digital format.

Any help would be much appreciated!
Very best,
M.W.
