The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

Chopin waltz op 69 no 2
on: January 12, 2020, 08:45:56 AM
This idea of learning and recording a new piece every week is getting a bit difficult, but still loads of fun.
In conservatory, and also with my teachers before entering, I worked for months and months to make sure every note had been discussed and talked about. This way of learning is therefore way out of my comfort zone, but also very rewarding in a way. It shows whole new way of playing (and learning), which is much more intuitive and much more of a go for it-approach.

This waltz is usually played in a more melancholic way, but I found the faster pace to be more interesting and give more possibility for variations in both tone and tempo.

I hope you enjoy :)
