[Video] Liszt - "La Campanella"
on: February 04, 2020, 02:29:39 PM
Hi everybody. A month ago I started to play the La Campanella again and this is the level that I have achieved for the time being. Not very happy with 0:38-0:50.. still can`t decide what I want to do there. Suggestions are welcomed :)

Always a pleasure listening to your music.  Such vitality in your playing.

One of my past teachers would have said: pick a direction and go with it.  There is no need to cement your decision, so if on another day you feel like doing something different do that instead.  Seems like you are considering shaping the smaller motifs here.  If you decide to go that way, you need to make it obvious, like you intended it to be that way.

Your 35 and 45 trills are fantastic!
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Thank you very much for your comments and for the kind words! :) I appreciate it :) I agree I have to play the part in question with more conviction and confidence. No idea why I play it with such uncertainty :) Best wishes!

This is very good! Only around 0.36 do you seem to have any problems, the thirds sound a bit messy. Around 3.30 is incredibly agile.
