Czerny La Mente Musical

Hello

Has anybody else come across "Czerny La Mente Musical" in the YouTube comments? I see him in a lot of classical piano videos. He is always degrading composers such as Chopin and promoting more obscure composers.

Hello

Yes, I'm familiar with that channel. He's apparently Mexican going by his channel description. Checking his playlists though, which are rife with all sorts of music including the composers he "insults" (as well as electronic music and the like), I suspect it's less that he really hates or looks down on those composers, than him being earnestly obsessed with Czerny's music and probably being pissed off by numerous comments stereotyping Czerny as "dull and boring" (which admittedly is not an uncommon opinion considering not only his reputation as an "exercise composer" but the lack of serious recordings by notable pianists of his more interesting works). That, or he's intentionally being a troll in order to gain more attention for his agenda to "promote the obscure composers".

He has some interesting videos though, I'm open to any sources of less-played works.
