prelude and fugue in c minor
on: July 07, 2020, 04:49:16 AM
When reading threads about this the prelude and fugue in c minor, a common subject that comes up is the difficulty of the fugue. Every forum says that the prelude part which looks much harder is much easier than the fugue. Why is the fugue seen to be very difficult.

And another question...

do you think i will be capable of playing it after finishing Black Key etude, Revolutionary etude and fantaisie impromptu.

Assuming you are talking about the c minor prelude and fugue from Book I of the WTC, then I think that that fugue is one of the least difficult in Book I. I think it is ceratinly much less difficult than any of the Chopin you have mentioned.
