Free Piano Sheet Music (Searchable)
on: August 15, 2020, 08:00:25 AM
Hi guys,

Wanted to share with you this resource page from my blog: https://www.pianosightreading.com.au/free-piano-sheet-music/

It contains a large selection of piano pieces that you can search by sight-reading difficulty, number of sharps/flats, title, composer or style, and download for free. You'll find pieces from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century and Modern periods. I've selected the most legible editions, ignored illegible scores or scores that would be way too hard to sight-read. I've also deleted unnecessary pages (like front and back covers) and reduced the file sizes whenever possible.

It's still a work in progress (the piano repertoire is so big!) but you can already find more than 300 pieces with 4 to 7 sharps. I'll be adding pieces with 4 to 7 flats in the coming weeks. :)

Why 4 to 7 sharps or flats only? The idea was to make it easier for pianists to find pieces in these "harder" keys to practise their sight-reading. But of course, you can also use this page to find pieces to learn.
I may add pieces with 0 to 3 sharps or flats in the future, although it would be a big undertaking, as you can imagine! (There are WAY more pieces to sift through in these keys on IMSLP)
