where can I find information for my program note?

I am preparing program note for
- Beethoven, pathetic sonata
- Bach, prelude and fugue in D (WTC 1)
- Liszt, Liebestraume No.3
where can I find them? or if anybody has experience or information for these, please help me

Go to your local, or university library. Most have a general collection of music biographies
The internet is also a very useful tool. Look up cds that include these pieces. You might get lucky and find something already written. But, if your are supposed to do the research yourself, like if this is a school project, then be careful how you use the info.
To avoid getting overwelmed try focusing on one or two aspects of each piece that you may think your audience will find interesting, such as the period in which the composer lived. Musical ideas or motives that can be identified in the pieces - so the audience will know what to listen for.
Interesting anecdotes -what ever you think are worth mentioning

Thank you very much for your advice.

I also want to ask about the length. How long it should be for each piece. This is my first program note. So, please don't mind if I ask such a simple question.
