Pieces of similar level of Beethoven's Sonata no 3

Hi,

My teacher told me to choose a new Sonata to study and play.

I have played until now Sonata G major Hob 27 XVI of Haydn an Mozart's Sonata in a minor.

She suggested me to find one of Beethoven, which I see very difficult for me (long story). Like his Sonata No 3 in C Major or another of the same level, but none of his difficult nor larger ones.

The ones of op 49 no 1 and 2 can't be included.

Do you know how can I know which can be in that range?, it is just that here they put it is 8+ level, and in Henle 7, so I am confused.

These 4 are much easier than Op. 2, no.3:

1. Op. 10, no.1
2. Op. 10, no.2
3. Op. 14, no.1
4. Op. 14, no.2

Somewhat easier would be:

1. Op. 31, no.2
2. Op. 31, no.3
3. Op. 10, no.3
4. Op. 26
5. Op. 28
6. Op. 54

These are around the same level:

1. Op. 31, no.1
2. Op. 2 , no. 2
3. Op. 22
4. Op. 110

Sorry if I have answered right now, but I have been pretty busy since that day.

In the end, I chose op 2 no 1. Maybe it is a lower level, but I chose it because other subjects will and have been very demanding with loads of homework and works. And exams will arrive soon.

However, my teacher understood and put me it was a good idea. Besides, it is very related to Haydn. Thanks again for the recommendations.

Note: in piano, it is expected for the classical period to have at least one movement of a sonata or an opus. The semester ends in January. Currently I got a Barroque and 20th century pieces, and a Czerny exercise of op 299, now I have to get one of classical period (first movement of Beethoven's sonata op 2 no1), and romantic period (Chopin Nocturne op 48 no 1, which is very difficult with the octaves and the reexposition).
