Very rare transcription on La traviata - Alfred Jaell
on: October 04, 2020, 03:47:26 PM

Alfred Jaell was an Austrian composer-pianist (1832-1882). I recorded his Reminiscences de Norma on a studio album in 2016, and this rather salonesque morsel had been on the shortlist for that album but ultimately didn't get chosen. Here is a home recording.

Thanks, it's always a pleasure to work on totally forgotten pieces of music which otherwise will never see the light of day!
