Yamaha P45 Sound
on: October 30, 2020, 12:36:00 AM
Hi, ive received my P45 today, and i noticed that the sound is a bit stuffy,  more like a stuck sound. Is it just me or the sound isnt quite the same that show on youtube videos? I dont know if i have to change something in settings or my ear is broken xD (notice that i use a piano shelf, but i think this cant affect the sound).

Have you tried it with headphones? The sound is typically recorded via MIDI or line out cables attached to a computer. It sounds different through the inbuilt speakers.

Headphones is a good suggestion, I'm not sure I would say the sound through the speakers is "stuffy".   I mainly use the P45 with headphones (early morning exercises before anyone else in the house is up), but when I have used the speakers I haven't noticed anything drastic.   Is it new?
