Heh, this is one of the broader questions that have been asked..
How about:
Rach etude Op. 39 #9 (interesting, Chopin doesn't have a D major etude...)
Chopin Mazurka Op. 33 #2
Chopin Prelude #5
Mozart rondo K. 485
Mozart Sonata K. 576, 448
Beethoven Symphony #2 (piano transc. by Liszt)

And lest not forget the ubiquitous Pachelbel Canon..
A modern house without a flush toilet... uncanny.

scarlatti k. 119.  it's definately telling you at the beginning it's in the key of D major.
do you know why benches fall apart?  it is because they have lids with little tiny hinges so you can store music inside them.  hint:  buy a bench that does not hinge.  buy it for sturdiness.

To name a few more ...

Bach: Prelude & Fugue in D major from the WTC (The one in Book I is my favorite.)
Haydn composed quiet a few Sonatas in D major as did Scarlatti. (And let's not forget the Haydn D major piano concerto.)
Mozart: "Coronation" Concerto
Beethoven composed two D major piano sonatas, Op. 10, No. 3 and Op. 28.
Schubert: Sonata D.894(?)

I echo Beethoven Opus 28 (a tremendous composition!), the WTC Book 1, Mozart K.576 and Rachmaninoff Etudes-Tableau.

Also
Rachmaninoff Prelude Op. 23 No. 4, breathtakingly beautiful
Scarlatti Sonata K.491, WOW, this is seriously one of the most fascinating compositions I have ever heard, especially when played by Trevor Pinnock!
Haydn Sonata No. 37 (I believe, it's one of the most famous ones, and one of the best)

Tom Waller played a lot in D. Try the full Posnak transcription of "Gladyse" (available in the volume of Waller from Amazon). It'll give you plenty to think about for quite a while.
