Hi,
I have a general question and a subordinated one.
1) How do Wilh. Steinberg grand pianos compare with the other more known pianos of brands like KAWAI or YAMAHA?
2) I was almost sure to buy a Kawai GL-10 (9,500 euro in Italy) baby grand due to budget constraints or to stretch my budget up to a Kawai GL-30 (13,500 euro in Italy); however, I had the opportunity to try a Wilh. Steinberg P152 (same size as the Kawai GL-10) and I liked its sound. The Wilh. Steinberg P152 costs 11,000 euro and I do not know how to compare it with the Kawais (it costs more and has a better sound than the GL-10, on the other hand, it costs less than the GL-30 that has a better sound). Is the price of the Wilh. Steinberg P152 fair compared to the price of a Kawai GL-10?
My main problem is that I collected a lot of information on the Kawai GL series (Millennium III action, longer key stick, reinforced keybed and key slip, reinforced stretcher bar, Roslau strings, double felted mahogany hammers, tapered soundboard) whereas I was not able to find almost anything on the Wilh. Steinberg P series.
Any one of you has more information?
