Schumann Intermezzo op 4 no 6

Hey guys, I have to play this piece for an exam in 8 weeks, havn’t started yet.. Any tips/advices for practicing and/or performing?

Hello and welcome to the forum.  Your question is very broad, and the answer depends very much on what your skill level is, what your strengths and weaknesses are, how you learn the best etc etc.

Personally I would also not have much specific advice for how to practise this piece in particular, because it would be the same advice as what I would give for practising in general. First of all, I would say start now, if you haven't already  ;D Go through the score, identify what you think are the most difficult parts, and start working on those. Look at what you think is easy, and practise those parts less. If there are any repetitions of parts, plan your practise so you don't play those parts more times just because they appear more times in the piece, but prioritize so you work the most on the things that need the most work.

Or do it like Richter, who allegedly learned a few bars or a page at a time by working on it and not moving on until he could do it perfectly before going to the next set of bars or page.
