Pianists in the UK
« on: March 15, 2021, 07:48:33 PM »
Hey piano colleagues!

I hold a BMus in Piano performance from Spain, I've recently moved to England and would like to get immersed in the musical culture/work/studies here. In Spain, after finishing undergraduate studies, people take different options. Some continue with a Master's degree, others study to apply for a public position at a national conservatoire or junior conservatoire, others start working in private music academies, etc

What do pianists do here in the UK after graduating? I'd love to hear from you guys, UK pianists if you're reading this  :)

I'm not from the UK but posting here so it'll be easier to follow this thread, as I am interested in what people have to say on this topic as well  ;D

Let's hope @lostinidlewonder drops by this thread as they usually have good ideas on this sort of thing.
