Wagner transcriptions mini recital
on: May 25, 2021, 07:24:04 PM
A short selection of transcriptions by Liszt, in a mini home recital format. I was hoping to play these in a recital this summer, but it now looks like it won't go ahead for predictable reasons. The middle item is something I'm revising, having not played it for the best part of a decade.

I had technical problems with the specifically mic-recorded audio and didn't merge it in with the video, but I've now retrieved it and will upload the individual audio files to the thread shortly. The video consequently is only with camphone audio, which isn't quite what I wanted.

1. Isolde's Liebestod
2. Abendstern (aria from Tannhauser)
3. Fantasy on Rienzi
