Pain in finger
on: June 17, 2021, 10:35:50 PM
Hello.  I'm try to learn some piano pieces periodically last 5 years.  Have syntesator korg pa50 and piano. Most of time playing on korg because only way to see music sheets, and less time repeat it on piano. I don't remember when this pain appear first time - maybe 2 or 3 years ago.  Almost always have problem with index finger.
I must play like a pro.  but how can I avoiding pain?
I'm learning pieces by myself.

It is very hard to diagnose a problem like this based on your description, because you are not giving us much detail to go on. Pain usually comes from tension in your body when you play and/or using too much force. It is possible to play piano at a professional level without pain. Ideally, I would see a knowledgeable piano teacher. I'm not sure how effective written guidance from a forum would be in this case. Can you post a video of you playing so we can see what is going on?

Hi
Could you help out?  I don’t I
Understand why you cannot see the score while playing on the acoustic.  Could it be related to the way you are sitting?  That answer might give you some information about your finger pain.  Pain is never good so yes, a video would help
