Streamed home recital; my own piano sonata
on: July 27, 2021, 01:50:18 PM
With the caveat that the audio quality isn't great (and tbh my piano is needing a bit of work done, not had time to have it looked at yet).
This was a runthrough for a recital I'm giving in four weeks time.
0.16 Wagner/Liszt Fantasy on themes from Rienzi
7.32 Mascagni/Anschutz Intermezzo from Cavalliera Rusticana
10.16 Wagner/Liszt Isolde's Liebestod
17.04 Bellini/Jaell Reminisces de Norma
25.22 Wagner/Liszt O du, mein holder Abendstern
32.13 Rossini/Thalberg Dal tuo stellato soglio
37.27 Wright Sonata improvvisata
The sonata was originally an improvisation (hence the title), but has now been written out and now exists as a formal.piece of music.
