Topic: Hi im new, I need some help knowing some good pieces to play  (Read 1007 times)

Hi there just made this account. I started piano a year ago but then as time went on I was bored out of my mind because I did not know what to play. Can you guys give me some suggestions that meet these conditions?

- Sounds dramatic and impressive
- Is not that hard to play )
- Is not too long

That's a bit difficult to answer without knowing what your skill level is. Can you read sheet music? Can you name some pieces you played recently that felt easy to moderately challenging?

You may have to play it slower but it's still fun to play.

I have played Prelude 4 by Chopin, Prelude 20 by Chopin. The rest I forgot

Ah, I was actually thinking about suggesting those! You could try the Prelude no 6 by Chopin. Also the Arabesque by Burgmuller, and some other pieces from the 25 Etudes Op. 100 might be to your taste.

Frank Sanuccci pretty sure not my first time recommended him, his scores cam be hard to find bit are worth the effort , lovely sort of neo romantic tonal slant writing , not terribly difficult for how beautiful his short pieces for solo are
