Canto Ostinato

Is Canto Ostinato by Simeon Ten Holt difficult to play? I love listening to it.  So far I’ve only taken on beginner-intermediate pieces, which include some minimalist works.  I’m guessing the solo version is harder than either a two or four-hand part for this, but haven’t seen the music.  Does anyone have experience playing it?

I have not played it, only listened to parts of it.  Yes, I would find it far too difficult for a beginner.
