Looking for some fingerings for Mazeppa
on: June 01, 2022, 12:54:18 PM
I'm playing around a bit with this Etude and am thinking about a couple of different fingerings for a few bars where I feel uncertain about what choices I want to make. I'd like to ask if there is anyone here who has studied this Etude up to tempo and could offer me what fingerings you use for the following places:
Fingerings for both hands in the ascending part of the "Cadenza ad libitum" starting in bar 6. I'm playing around with a few different ideas but I'm not entirely satsified with any of them so I'd be interested in hearing what other people use.
The patterns with sixths/triplets in bars 22-23 and analogous parts.
The patterns with sixths/triples in bars 55-56 and analogous parts.
The rest feels pretty straight forward in terms of fingering.
Thank you!
