Hello again! RCM and other adventures

It has been too long since I was here last.  Having even one teen seems to take up a ton of headspace!

My teacher who is an RCM has recommended to pursue the RCM certification.  Many of the pieces I'm playing currently are at levels 8 and above, but I'm sorely lacking in fundamentals, e.g., theory. Has anyone done the RCM as an adult?
