eMedia Piano and Keyboard Technique
on: February 13, 2005, 04:36:05 PM
I recently completed this CD-ROM and I'm wondering where to go from here. I don't believe there's a second volume in this series and I'm getting no indication from eMedia as to when the next release will be available. I'm an adult beginner with limited time for live instruction, yet I know that my best bet would be to continue with a teacher. Can anyone who is familiar with the material on this CD-ROM recommend a course of study that would be a natural progression, either with or without a teacher? Just to give a little more background on what I've done so far, I've completed every piece in the program and I required of myselft a minimum score of 95% on each piece (I have the MIDI connection form the electronic piano to my laptop). I don't really have any of the pieces memorized, though. I'm aspiring to play classical pieces and I'm quite fond of Chopin and Ravel. Thanks very much.
