CANADIAN COMPOSERS ANYONE???

:)  hi guys..
i neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to know some canadian composers.... outstanding ones that is...
so if you know any.. give me their name.. and somehting about them.. and maybe 2 or 3 of their known works?!...

All i know is Farnon. But it seems he didn't compose for piano....

May i ask why you want a canadian composer?

My teacher just finished recording a CD of music for the piano by a canadian composer called "Alexina Louie". She is canadian of Chinese descent. Her music is quite modern and avant-garde (plucking strings, etc.). My teacher's CD is probably going to be marketed by CBC, so look for it. His name is Oscar Cano

Check out the Canadian Music Center for a list of Canadian composers.
