Persistent unequal coordination between hands
on: September 11, 2022, 03:13:07 PM
It's not a loss of sensation and certainly not a lack of brute force strength although arthritis plays a role in the wrist and finger joints.

It's a big imbalance between left and right hand coordination. I'm right-handed so I guess it makes sense for the right hand to be better at things.

I can land consistently on the right keys after 4 years of lessons and daily practice with my right hand, the left hand after the same 4 years definitely lags when playing hands-together.

Does anyone else struggle with this?

For what it's worth, I have done a master's degree in playing and my right hand is better than my left. I'm right handed. as you might have guessed.
