Chopin fantasy op 49

How hard is this piece technically compared to other chopin major works, like ballade 1, heroic polonaise etc?

Difficult to quantify. It depends on your strengths and weaknesses as a player. I'd consider it technically more challenging than the Ballade and Heroic polonaise due to some of the passages in it. But I'm sure you could find someone who disagres.
