Fugue "Labyrinth" - original composition

Thought Id post my latest piece. A fugue, with a decidedly modern bent.

Cool piece :D sounds like you handle the fugue form well. Did you study composition? How did you develop your skills to the point you could write fugues?

Hi. Ive had no formal instruction on composition, or the fugue structure. But as I learned all the fugues (and preludes) from WTC I, II - I was fascinated by the fractal construction, and annotated them accordingly - for my own study. Noticing the structure of compositions (for me) is something that accompanied the learning of playing a piece.

I think this is an important and underrated skill. Sounds like it's paid off for you! Well done fugue :)
