Where are the metric accents in subdivisions?
on: March 28, 2023, 10:55:50 PM
I have this doubt on music theory.
Each time signature has its accents, as in 4/4 they are strong (first beat), weak (second beat), medium (third beat) and weak (fourth beat). But this logic applies to the crotchets, as this image points out:
However, I would like to know where will be the metric accents in each note of this image:
Thank you!

The steady pulse in crotchets and its accents still exists underneath whatever rhythmical texture you apply on top of it. You highlight this accordingly when you play.
