Mascagni Intermezzo (piano arrangement)

Recorded on a church grand piano and with rather better conditions/ equipment than my earlier version.

This both is and isn't my transcription... strictly speaking it originates from an obscure late 1800s arrangement but I made some revisions, filling out harmonies in places and re-expressing some accompaniment.

Possibly a change from some of the more flamboyant operatic paraphrases I'm wont to play...

Lovely! I love the romantically desynced right and left hand in your playing :) I wish more pianists dared to do that today.

Thank you for the kind words, and it was very much a conscious choice to do the desynchronisation as the emotional temperature of the piece rises in the second half.
