Hanon for beginner

What is a sensible way to practice Hanon 1-30 ?
I have decided to use them mainly as a warm-up, a few a day.
At least I feel my finger control is better, I feel stronger and more supple. Is there a sensible way to practice Hanon for a beginner ?

Do them controlled at 60bpm instead of 108bpm???

- Do them at a tempo where you have time to think and listen to your body even if it seems "slow". Speed will come.
- Doing them mindfully with full focus for 10 minutes will give you better results long term than grinding them mindlessly for 1 hour while watching youtube (yes people do this).
- Transpose them to different keys regularly

What lelle said. I will add knowing the purpose of the scale too. There is a primary reason each were created.

As a beginner it’s good to limit sessions to 15-20 minutes to give your hands a few minutes rest (shake it, slow finger grasps). It usually takes 5 minutes for adequate recovery until u build the stamina (many do a minute, a few at most). Consider the resting phase as part of practice time.
