My understanding is that the forum was semi-down for a while because there were (for some reason) a ton of bots that were all visiting the site at the same time.

Gasplamey now you need to go Google the difference between gender identity and sexual orientation. It's all just a wider umbrella of nonconformity with traditional gender roles, so many of the terms under the LGBT+ umbrella are pretty far removed but all just have a common aspect of fitting in. It's fine if you don't agree with all these different identification labels, but please at least treat people with respect and don't just mindlessly insult different groups on the basis of a distant suggestion. Also, before you ask stuff, Google is a thing. No offense, I'm sure you know a bunch of stuff I don't, but I think you're missing out on being an active citizen 101 right now.

I assumed he was saying that he identifies with the _ssholes who consider women as a game to be won (there's a term for that but I don't remember what it is). They usually act as though the reason women don't want to be friends with them is because "women don't like men who aren't 'alphas*'", when in reality anyone who has a brain will quickly realize that those men aren't safe to be around/aren't good people/etc.

*"alpha" being used in the same way it's sometimes used to refer to the "leader" of a pack of animals. This is also where the gen Z/Alpha slang term "sigma" comes from, originally used by those people to refer to themselves as being "secretly better than 'alphas,'" IIRC. Could be wrong on that though.
