Chopin - Nocturne Op. 48 No. 1

Hello, this nocturne is my favorite piece and I would like to know if I could play it in my level.
For refrence: I have played Fantaisie impromptu, nocturne op 9 no 2, nocturne in c sharp minor, waltz op 64 no 2,moonlight sonata first movement and liebestraum no 3.

If you can handle the pieces you mentioned I see no reason why you couldn't manage the Nocturne. The hardest part is the ending, but if you have serviceable chord technique it should not prove too challenging.

the double movement is a monster, i think you can handle it but i am almost sure it's harder than any piece you mentioned

I agree, the final part is harder than the mentioned pieces. But it should be doable with the foundation you have.

Boy, I don't know. I can play the jut about all the pieces OP mentions, and I'd have no prayer of playing that Nocturne. The Chopin he lists are really not all that difficult, though I concede like most Chopin difficult to perform well. But 48/1 is on a far higher level than the pieces he lists. . I think the poster ought to know whether he can handle such a piece already, especially if he's able. Why not just try it out and see what happens. Either way, he'll learn something about himself and his current ability to play piano.

Just try it. I was definitely not prepared to jump from the Moonlight 3rd to HR 2 and what'd I do?

You won't get it perfect but probably good enough to the point that you can enjoy it.
