Mozart concerts aren't too difficult. The most beautiful concert I ever heard is chopin's first.  I think i'm able to play it ( I'm 13 years old), but I don't have that many time to study :(

I have exam at the Sweelinck Conservatory here in Amsterdam, and I have my high-school exams :(

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I find these replies absolutely retarded and meaningless. I don't give a crap what you can or cannot do and I don't care what exams you are taking. I asked a simple question and would like simple answers. It would have been one thing if you said something about your first concerto and your experience, but give me a friggin break.

Damn. Seemed pretty innocent to me.

FYI, my first concerto was Beethoven's Second. A good starter, as I have said. But you should really shelve the Bach and take up Mozart 23

Learn the Mozart 23

It's a great concerto.  Give into peer pressure.

Certain Beethoven and Mozart concerti are pretty approachable. What about the Mendelssohn in G minor?

My first was Rhapsody in Blue, if anyone actually considers that a concerto.  I'm playing the Beethoven 1st this May, and I'll probably slowly try to tackle the Rach 2nd next.

The Beethoven first is pretty simple; I'd recommend that one.  But I'd also recommend playing what you're really motivated to play.  For me, that ISN'T the Beethoven 1st, and I'm having a really hard time practicing it as much as I should be.

I feel like you. I would be extremely unmotivated to do the Beethoven's 1st. Nothing strikes my fancy about it.
