The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

Help Me Identify This Piece of Music
on: December 11, 2023, 03:33:45 PM
I wondered if anyone could help me identify a piece for solo piano, of which I've attached a short clip. I taped it off the radio in 1989 when I was 10 years old and 34 years later I have yet to identify it, despite a decent knowledge of classical music from this period. My aunt, a concert pianist, says it sounds French and thought it might be Couperin, however a thorough search of Couperin's works has turned up nothing. Can anyone finally help me identify this so I can obtain the score and learn it myself?
  Thanks for any help.
