Etude difficulty depends on the person
25 6 is definitely one of the hardest though

Yes, usually people find either op 10 no 1, op 10 no 2, or op 25 no 6 the hardest.

If you're curious, Annique Gottler has good in-depth videos of the difficulties of op. 10 and op. 25

last 3 schubert sonatas and piano trios are something else

It's either 25/6 or 10/2. I'd go with 25/6 because I literally broke a finger on it  >:(.

Definitely imo
The only other comparable one is  “Winter wind” imo, even then it is a stretch
I know it’s not an etude but Ballade no 2 and 4 are (harder admittedly) but are much more comparable Chopin-wise in difficulty imo

Lol. They're decently good videos, but I do find thumbnails to typically be weird and show-offy.

For me it's the hardest of all the Etudes. I have worked on all of them and get around most of them, not super professionally, but pretty aight if I practice. But I still can't do the opening trill of 25 no 6 at the speed I want. Winter Wind, which was mentioned as a hard one above, comes much more easily to me, not only than 25 no 6, but many of the others, funnily enough. (I mean yeah it's still a challenging piece but if you practice enough it's pretty comfy)
