Chopin - Nocturne C-sharp minor fingering

Hello ! I am currently studying the C sharp minor "Lento con gran espressione" and I'd like to ask for an advice about the following bars with double notes : what fingering do you suggest to play and facilitate a smooth transaction and sound beetween these chords (the ones circled in green) ?

Depends on the size of hand but this should work to ensure a connected top voice.

Of course! Does it make sense as to why I would use that fingering? With careful pedaling you can let go of some of the thumbs on the sixths to get in position for the 16th notes.

Actually I made a little modification in bar 23 :
instead of going 3/1 ---> 4-1/2 ---> 4/1 ---> 5/2
I tried : 2/1 ---> 2/1 ---> 2/1 ---> 5/2

this way I do not do any change and the 2nd finger is already ready to play the E+C chord. What do you think ?

Sure, that works too! I just like changing fingers on closely repeated notes to ensure there is a clean strike. Sometimes using the same finger can jam up if there isn’t just enough lift. But in this case, because it is a slower tempo there is less chance of that happening. Of course, using 2 all the way means the last sixth of the measure is already set up, which is definitely a benefit!
